On MSNBC this morning, Joe Scarborough offered his analysis of the White House war on Fox News. (video below)
He said that the White House is playing to their two bases, the far-left and the Washington Press Corps. Scarborough added that the White House hopes to keep other media outlets from following Fox News stories in the future - stories like ACORN, Van Jones, and now Anita Dunn. Fox News has led the way on all these stories, and the White House has seen other media eventually report on ACORN and Van Jones. They want that to stop.

He mentions the recent resignation of Green Jobs Czar Van Jones amid growing controversy and FCC Diversity Officer Mark Lloyd’s campaign to shut down conservative talk radio. (video below)
However, his coverage states that Glenn Beck began his coverage of Van Jones “after” a group that Jones founded, Color of Change, began a campaign to pull advertisers from Beck’s program on Fox News. This is not an accurate statement. Beck actually exposed the radical politics of Van Jones in episodes that aired on July 23rd and July 28th. In fact, it is quite possible that the campaign by Color of Change was initiated in response to Beck’s coverage of their founder … and had little, if anything, to do with Beck’s comments regarding President Obama.
President Barack Obama’s Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, resigned amid controversy over past inflammatory statements early Sunday morning. (videos below)
Jones issued an apology on Thursday for his past statements. When asked Friday whether Obama still had confidence in him, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said only that Jones “continues to work in the administration.”
The Jones’ controversy peaked after news reports of a derogatory comment he made recently about Republicans, and separately, of Jones’ name appearing on a petition connected to the 911 Truth movement claiming that the Bush administration played a role in the terrorist attacks.
This morning (September 5th), CNN’s Mary Snow reported on a few of the controversies surrounding radical Green Jobs Czar Van Jones.
She mentions his support for the 911 Truth movement, his public denigration of republicans in congress as a*holes, and his statement in 2005 that he is a communist. She further downplayed Jones’ controversies by implying that these issues are public knowledge because Glenn Beck has launched an attack against him due to of his involvement in getting advertisers to back out of sponsoring Beck’s program on Fox News.

BOND Action, Inc. (Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny), a national cultural action organization, has come out in support of FOX News Channel broadcaster Glenn Beck. Beck has been under attack from the radical left-wing group ColorOfChange.org after he said last month that he believes President Obama is “a racist.”
“Glenn Beck is right, Obama is a racist!” added Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, BOND founder and president. “Where were the boycotts and outraged activists when President George W. Bush was being falsely maligned as a ‘racist’? This is a blatant double standard. This boycott is an attempt to silence Beck from continuing his exposé of Barack Obama’s socialist agenda and his radical ‘green jobs czar’ Van Jones.”
Americans need to stay on alert. Not only are elected officials ignoring us, but Obama is replacing them with Czars.
Most of the Czars appointed by Obama are unelected, unconfirmed by the Senate, and they answer only to Obama. At present he has 44, but has plans for more. He has given them power over cabinet level officials. If subpoenaed by congress, they can claim executive privilege. Is he sitting up the framework to dismiss Congress and have a government of a despot? A Marxist government? Totalitarian?
Meet your Czars; we pay them well. They earn between $158,500 and $172,200 a year. They are designing the policies of this country — not Congress.
The administration’s “Green Jobs” czar, Van Jones, has a “very checkered past” deep-rooted in radical politics, including black nationalism, anarchism, and communism. The broadcast network newscasts have mostly failed to report on Mr. Jones’s past political affiliations which are lock-step with the network’s downplay of coverage regarding President Obama’s associations with the former radical and terrorist William Ayers during the election.
At 6:47 a.m. EDT on the July 10 edition of “Fox and Friends,” Americans for Prosperity Policy Director Phil Kerpen, told interviewer Brian Kilmeade that Jones is “somebody who was involved in radical politics in San Francisco, “who was self-admittedly “radicalized in jail” and found “Communism and anarchism.”
