After reading the entire health care bill I have some comments, not about the bill, but about the effects on our Constitution. It’s a broader picture than just health care reform. It’s time we sit up and pay attention; once this sort of thing happens, it will be irreversible. We have reason to be very afraid of what is happening.

“I’m still trying to find the first American to talk to who is in favor of the public option,” Representative John Boehner (R-OH) said during a press conference today. “This is about as unpopular as a garlic milkshake.”
The Minority Leader criticized a number of other items ranked high on Congressional Democrats’ agenda, including cap-and-trade legislation, which Boehner claimed would be a key contributors to job loss.
Tonight (September 10th), Bill O’Reilly interviewed Ann Coulter about ObamaCare and other related topics. This is a heated debate with O’Reilly moderately supporting Obama.
Tonight (September 10th), Sean Hannity interviewed Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) regarding his “You Lie!” outburst during Obama’s speech to Congress on Wednesday. Hannity also pointed out the double standard when Harry Reid called President Bush a liar.
In his Morning Update today (September 9th), Rush Limbaugh discussed a recent article by Jonathan Cohn, editor of The New Republic, in which he indicates that Republicans are a big stumbling block on passing health care legislation.

On Fox News Special Report today (September 3rd), Bret Baier revealed that under socialized medicine, British doctors are concerned about some terminally-ill patients being forced to die prematurely. Is this what we can expect from the end-of-life “care and counseling” from HR 3200?
Organizing for America (OFA), a project of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), used to be Obama for America. The political group has been encouraging participation in a work-at-home ObamaCare organizing event by besmirching the opposition as “Right-Wing Domestic Terrorists”.

In this despicable OFA attack, they also ask members to make two phone calls for ObamaCare on September 11th … yes … 911 … the 8th anniversary of the terrorist attacks! And … note that they claim a whopping 75% of Americans support ObamaCare!
The Tucson area Tea Party Coalition held a townhall healthcare meeting at Rincon High School in Tucson on Friday (August 28th). Over 1,000 people showed up at the event … including one violent counter-protester.
The ObamaCare supporter loudly interrupted the meeting immediately after a TPD officer thanked the group for always being civil and law-abiding at their events. The event protester shouted over our panelists incessantly and, when approached, hit one of the attendees in the face with his elbow. The man who was assaulted kept his cool and TPD promptly removed the protester from the auditorium.

Senator Mike Enzi (R-WY) of Wyoming delivered the weekly Republican address Saturday on the loss of Senator Kennedy and the importance of getting health care reform done right.
Senator Enzi discussed how the Democrats are rushing a health reform bill through congress that will ultimately “raid Medicare”, raise costs and increase the deficit.
And, he urged lawmakers to listen to what the American people are saying and scrap the Democrats’ current plan in order to “enact common sense reform that will actually cut costs.”
On Tuesday (August 25th) Representative Jim Moran (D-VA) held a health care town hall meeting at South Lakes High School in Reston, Virginia. Howard Dean, former Democratic National Committee chairman, also delivered remarks. (video below)
Apparently, many Democrats are starting to come unhinged at the pressure of citizens making their voices heard. Moran demanded that a man opposed to ObamaCare show his ID before he would allow him to ask a question. The crowd cheered as the questioner told Moran “You’re the Imposter!” and “Let me see your ID.”
ObamaCare supporters will hold more than 2,000 events over the next two weeks in an attempt to pressure Congress to embrace President Obama’s call for government run health care reform.
Organizing for America (formerly Obama for America), Obama’s campaign operation now housed at the Democratic National Committee, is coordinating the “Health Insurance Reform Now” events (bus tour, rallies, and phone bank calling) that are starting today. Health Care for America Now, an umbrella organization of unions and other progressive groups, will be involved in helping to get people out to the events.
ObamaCare supporters have repeatedly criticized Republicans for their opposition AND for offering no ideas for health care reform. Their claims are wholly inaccurate regarding Republican alternatives. The following three plans offer to repair existing shortcomings without a government takeover of the entire health care system in America.
Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele on Thursday dared Democrats to try a one-party push to overhaul the nation’s health care system. (video below)
Steele told reporters that he thinks if Democrat senators think they have the votes, they should try a tactic that would allow them to get around a bill-killing filibuster without the 60 votes usually needed. Steele said he didn’t think Democrats would do it because of potential voter backlash.
“Get it to the floor. Up or down, baby,” Steele declared at a news conference at the state GOP headquarters. “You want it done, pass the bill. But they know it’s poisonous and they know the American people will not tolerate it.”
The constitution was written to place limits on the federal government (Article 1, Section 8), not to grant it unlimited domain. Congress has absolutely no constitutional authority to meddle in our health care. It also has no constitutional authority to take over the auto industry, the banking industry, the energy industry, the mortgage industry, or ANY privately run industry.
Isn’t it time we hold our elected officials accountable?
President Obama took to the conservative airwaves Thursday to charge that Republican leaders are engaged in a vast right-wing conspiracy to kill health care reform in order to repeat the 1994 mid-term takeover of Congress, which followed the defeat of President Clinton’s reform plan.
“I think early on, a decision was made by the Republican leadership that said, ‘Look, let’s not give him a victory, maybe we can have a replay of 1993, ‘94, when Clinton came in, he failed on health care and then we won in the mid-term elections and we got the majority. And I think there are some folks who are taking a page out that playbook,” the president said.
In his Wednesday broadcast, Sean Hannity exposed David Axelrod’s conflict of interest regarding ObamaCare. He interviewed Michelle Malkin in this revelation of more corruption from within Obama’a administration.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs insisted Monday that there has been no change in President Barack Obama’s desire to see a public health insurance option be part of a healthcare bill.
Gibbs pushed back hard at reports the administration had abandoned its support for a public option one day after he and another official appeared to signal a shift.
