On MSNBC this morning, Joe Scarborough offered his analysis of the White House war on Fox News. (video below)

He said that the White House is playing to their two bases, the far-left and the Washington Press Corps. Scarborough added that the White House hopes to keep other media outlets from following Fox News stories in the future - stories like ACORN, Van Jones, and now Anita Dunn. Fox News has led the way on all these stories, and the White House has seen other media eventually report on ACORN and Van Jones. They want that to stop.

On The MSNBC today, Joe Scarborough and Mark Halperin mocked the news that President Obama has been given the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. Scarborough said it is a “joke,” and Halperin said it reinforces the idea that Obama is all about “just words.” Haperin joked you might as well give the award to “Michael Moore.” (video below)

Toward the end of the video, Scarborough was told that “a senior White House Official” had sent a message saying Scarborough was acting like an “a**hole.”

Joe Scarborough this morning made it crystal clear that he believes the White House surely must have agreed to the British government’s release of Abdelbaset Al Megrahi, convicted Lockerbie terrorist. If Scarborough is right, it is, as Mark Finkelstein puts it, a game-changer.
