This afternoon, the Sunday talk shows featured a number of pundits who agreed that the White House war on Fox News had failed.
This past week, while the Obama administration delayed decisions on real threats around the globe, Fox News was declared to not be a news channel by Anita Dunn, Robert Gibbs, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, and Barack Obama.
This video composite features comments on these statements by Nico Pitney, Jane Hall, Amanda Carpenter, George Will, Laura Ingraham, and Cynthia Tucker.
The poignant image of Barack Obama offering himself as a Father of the Nation spooning up homilies to American children has created deep disquietude in everyday citizens. One hopes that as Obama presents himself as an all-American uncle, he does not realize such communist tyrants as Joseph Stalin were committed to this same kind of public fable.
That communism perpetually employed media to create massive cults of personality is well-known, the results being impressive biographies mined from veins of pure balderdash. But it is little noted communists were also extremely focused upon likewise inculcating the young in such schemes. Yet, there are dangers in any attempt to draw an intimate relationship between politicians and children. Such latter day propaganda in America could easily confuse the young as to our original commitment to building a society of laws and principles over personalities.
This is the entire Glenn Beck show from Tuesday, October 20th, 2009. In this episode entitled “The War on Freedom of Speech”, Beck discusses the ongoing White House campaign to control news and information and net neutrality. He interviews Phil Kerpen.
On Fox News’ “Greta van Susteren” show tonight, she interviewed Tucker Carlson regarding the ongoing White House war on Fox News. (video below)
Carlson said he finds it “outrageous” that the White House is calling Fox News “illegitimate” when he personally saw another network (MSNBC) weep with joy on the air when Obama was elected. “I was there,” Carlson said.
Carlson added “Can you imagine David Axelrod lecturing us (Fox News) on honesty? Can you imagine letting David Axelrod - a political hack - set your news agenda?”
Have you noticed what is happening in America? In our nations capital? Have you noticed the President has surrounded himself with Marxist/Communist/Fascist czars that answer only to him and, in the process, circumvent congress? (video below)
That the President refuses to abide by the Constitution? That anti-American, anti-Capitalist Nancy Pelosi and a mostly Socialist-leaning congress have sold their souls to the Devil for power and money?
Who do you think is going to rush in and help America? The French? Ha! The Russians? The Germans? Obama has insulted ALL of our allies.
Today on ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos, he interviewed David Axelrod about Anita Dunn’s attack on Fox News.
Axelrod defended Anita Dunn’s comments about Fox News saying “They’re not really a news station” and “it’s really not news, it’s pushing a point of view.” Axelrod went on to say “other news organizations, should not treat them that way.”
In his Wednesday broadcast, Sean Hannity exposed David Axelrod’s conflict of interest regarding ObamaCare. He interviewed Michelle Malkin in this revelation of more corruption from within Obama’a administration.
This afternoon, FOX News’ Major Garrett sparred with Press Secretary Robert Gibbs over emails people are receiving about health care when they never signed up for them. White House adviser David Axelrod is apparently behind this effort.
On ABC’s “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos (Sunday; 2009-06-28), White House senior adviser David Axelrod said the president won’t rule out a health care reform bill that includes a middle-class tax hike.
“The president had said in the past that he doesn’t believe taxing health care benefits at any level is necessarily the best way to go here. He still believes that,” Axelrod told me on This Week, “But there are a number of formulations and we’ll wait and see. The important thing at this point is to keep the process moving, to keep people at the table, to the keep the discussions going. We’ve gotten a long way down the road and we want to finish that journey.”
I pressed Axelrod on whether Obama will draw a line in the sand and veto any bill that funds health care reform with tax hikes for people making under $250,000 a year — despite a pledge Barack Obama made during the 2008 presidential campaign not to raise taxes on the poor and middle-class.
As President-elect Barack Obama prepares to take office in January, he is confronted with many challenges. Few presidents have ever stepped into the oval office in such difficult times. Issues looming ahead include health care, Medicare financing, energy concerns, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, terrorism threats, unprotected borders, 30 million undocumented immigrants, and the numerous warning signs that our economy is in recession.
As crises abound, the president-elect must fill key posts with a top-notch team. And, he must put the right people in the right place expeditiously. Obama’s first personnel decision (2008-11-06) was to name U.S. Representative Rahm Emanuel as his Chief of Staff, a key position for the success of a new administration. He has a reputation of doing whatever it takes to achieve well-defined goals. (read this entire post…)
