With rumors circulating this week-end regarding the future of the “public option” aspect of ObamaCare, Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson (D-TX) weighed in on CNN yesterday.
“Without the public option, we’ll have the same number of people uninsured. If the insurance companies wanted to insure these people now, they’d be insured.”

The inimitable Lloyd Marcus has JUST released a great motivational song for taking back our country … in 2010. If you’re not distracted by his great singing voice, listen to the lyrics — simply AWESOME.
In response to the White House requests for friends to snitch on one another by forwarding “fishy” emails against ObamaCare to them, Steven Crowder sponsored this “public service” message urging patriots to “flag yourself”.

For far too long, citizens have declined to be involved in politics, except to occasionally go vote IF it isn’t too hot, too cold, raining, or we have the time to spare and don’t have to wait in line too long.
Meanwhile the ‘global warming’ alarmists have been hard at work behind the scenes. They have multiple agencies.
The Corporate Social Responsible movement has been intimidating businesses … making environmental, social, and human rights demands. They oppose conventional oil, shale oil, refineries, tar sands, natural gas, and nuclear power plants. They also have campaigned against turbine electricity, producing wind farms, and they have filed suits to ‘protect’ deserts that were proposed sites for solar energy.
We have a chance to send one of our own to Washington, DC. Adam Kokesh, Veteran of the Iraq war, and long time Freedom Activist, is running for Congress in his home State of New Mexico.
Ron Paul has officially endorsed his campaign, and it is up to us to help him win. Pledge today at: www.thisJuly4th.com
The situation we find ourselves in right now is a product of what We The People have made … mostly by our lack of attention and lack of action in the governing of our country. Too many of us for too long have left the selection and election of candidates to someone else.
Too many people go to the polls to vote with very little, if any, knowledge of what the candidates principle values and beliefs are, but vote primarily on emotion and by party. We have allowed ourselves to get to the point we now are, by that lack of attention or our apathy.
If we want to maintain our country, it’s time for everyone, not 50 percent or 60 percent … but 100 percent … to get off their assets and get involved in the political process. This is a government of the people, by the people and for the people … not a government of those in Washington.
The second wave of Tea Party Protests is rapidly approaching. Currently, more than 2000 Tax Day Tea Parties are scheduled for April 15th, in cities large and small, coast to coast. These patriotic gatherings will range in size from a few dozen to as many as 10,000 in larger cities.
While many of us are beginning to plan the day and make our signs, a lot of folks are looking for ideas for their slogan. We’ve explored every nook and cranny of the world wide web culling through endless photos of signs from the numerous protests in March to bring you some of the very best slogan ideas.
by LukeAmerica2020 Retired attorney and New Jersey resident Leo C. Donofrio asked the U.S. Supreme Court for an emergency stay on November 3 prohibiting three candidates from appearing on New Jersey’s ballots: Republican candidate John McCain, Democratic candidate Barack Obama and Socialist Worker’s Party candidate Roger Calero.
Donofrio claimed the candidates are not “natural born citizens” as enumerated in Article 2, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States, which states, “No person except a natural born citizen of the United States, at the time of adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President.” He wrote, Obama is not eligible for the presidency “even if it were proved he was born in Hawaii, since … Senator Obama’s father was born in Kenya and therefore, having been born with split and competing loyalties, candidate Obama is not a ‘natural born citizen’ …”
This case was dismissed by Justice Souter on November 6. It was refiled and submitted to Justice Clarence Thomas on November 14. It is currently Distributed for Conference by the Supreme Court on December 5, 2008. Once a stay application is denied, a renewed application is truly a desperate measure the success of which is very rare in Supreme Court history. Clearly, Justice Thomas considers this to be an extremely serious matter.
During our most recent quadrennial cataclysm, most conservatives were concerned by how easily Barack Obama’s unrelenting vague political platitudes of “change” and “hope” easily swayed not only strangers, but also otherwise rational thinking friends, family, and colleagues. Moreover, most of us were fully cognizant of how ridiculously slanted in favor of Obama that most of the mainstream media (MSM) was.
But, what may not be as readily apparent is how the manipulation of large groups of people through left-leaning media outlets contributed to the lack of essential knowledge many Americans had regarding both the Presidential candidates and political information in general. (read this entire post…)

by LukeAmerica2020 On November 4, 2008 just hours after the presidential election victory of Barack Hussein Obama, thousands of Philadelphians poured into the streets to cheer for the President-elect. Hordes of joyful Obama supporters overflowed with gleeful chanting fervor.
But when one man dared to have a differing opinion, simply by wearing a McCain/Palin ‘08 t-shirt, police officers threatened him with arrest and eventually did so. Apparently, it is now illegal in the City of Brotherly Love to be a quiet white republican. The ever-so-tolerant Obama fanatics shouted chants as the man was arrested for QUIETLY trying to use his First Amendment rights. We’ll keep you posted as similar ordeals develop in the news in the coming months.
The first video is specific clip of this incident. The second one is a more extensive 6-minute documentary of events that night.

This is the movie trailer to the action-packed story of greed and corruption by imperious socialists. You’ve heard about it in the news. Now, look for “Obama’s A-Team” in your local theater.

The mandate for Barack Obama’s promise of change has prevailed. Appearing before tens of thousands of supporters in Chicago, President-elect Barack Obama discussed his historical campaign and victory … and called for unity.
Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians, PUMAs … we do need to come together … we are Americans first. Let us HOPE and PRAY that President Obama will lead our great nation with honor and respect. Only with unity can we, as a nation, effectively work through our collective problems which make up the enormous task in front of us.
“If there is anyone out there who still doubts that America is a place where all things are possible, who still wonders if the dream of our founders is alive in our time, who still questions the power of our democracy, tonight is your answer.”
“The road ahead will be long, our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America, I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you, we as a people, will get there.”

The end of a long journey, John McCain conceded defeat late Tuesday evening (2008-11-04) in Phoenix, AZ. He urged Americans to come together.

Just after 12:00 noon today (2008-11-04), Fox News reported that two Black Panthers were at one polling station in Philadelphia, PA, “guarding” the doorway. One carried a nightstick and confronted a citizen who had gone in to the polling place. That citizen called police (he was interviewed by the Philly correspondent for Fox). The citizen reported that police removed the black panther with the night stick, but the other, who lives in the area, remains near the door.
Hopefully, this is just an isolated incident of voter intimidation.
Republican Presidential Nominee Senator John McCain has made his choice for president, casting his ballot alongside his wife on Tuesday morning (2008-11-04) in Phoenix, AZ. Supporters stood outside cheering.

Kevin Ficek is an average American. He works hard to support his family, pays his taxes, and goes to church on Sunday. It takes two jobs just to make sure his daughter can receive a proper education. Consider his appeal that comes from his heart…

The 2008 quadrennial cataclysm has been a tough-fought battle. Whatever the results turn out to be, it is an historic election.
The 2008 election is the first time in U.S. history that two sitting senators have run against each other for President.
It is the first time an African-American is a presidential nominee for a major party.
It is the first time both major candidates were born outside the continental United States — Hawaii for Obama and the Panama Canal Zone for McCain.
Since the Republican nominee for Vice-President is a woman, Governor Sarah Palin, the eventual winning ticket will be historic. Neither an African-American nor a female has achieved either office.
The Republican presidential candidate, John McCain, would be the oldest first-term president.
The Democratic nominee for vice-president, Senator Joseph Biden, would be the first Roman Catholic Vice-President.
And, this is the first time since the 1928 election in which neither an incumbent President nor an incumbent Vice-President ran for their party’s nomination in the presidential election.
Let’s make some history … Vote on Tuesday, November 4 !!!
