Last night on MSNBC’s “The Ed Show”, Arianna Huffington explained to liberal Ed Schultz why she has written that Vice-President Joe Biden should resign from office if President Obama decides to send 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan (as requested by General Stanley McChrystal). Biden has opposed increasing troops levels in Afghanistan, and instead wants more focus on Al-Qaeda in Pakistan. (video below)
Schultz was derisive that Huffington would advocate this, and told her “We’re talking about Joe Biden. We’re not talking about Sarah Palin. Joe Biden is not a quitter.”
Media Matters and America’s Voice have just launched a campaign to have CNN drop Lou Dobbs over his stance on illegal aliens. You may want to share your thoughts on their YouTube video page.

This is Rush Limbaugh’s morning update for today. He discusses the ongoing strategy by the far-left dems to demonize and then takeover various industries.
Liz Cheney’s KeepAmericaSafe.com released its first ad Monday … blasting Barack Obama on his dishonest campaign promises to America and our allies. Barack Obama knows how to give a great speech. But, when it comes to America’s defense, the rhetoric doesn’t match the reality.
This is the entire Glenn Beck show from Tuesday, October 13th, 2009. In this episode entitled “The Six Degrees of Obama”, Beck discusses how the Obama administration uses “image” in order to hide reality from the public, the Anita Dunn red hotline phone, ObamaCare, and the progressive agenda. He interviews Michael Cannon and Charles Payne.
He also mentions USDebtClock.org.
On January 15, 2008 (one year and five days before his presidential inauguration), Barack Obama spoke at an SEIU meeting. He vowed to “Paint the Nation Purple”, SEIU’s signature color. (video below)
“We organized voting registration drives, that’s how we built political power on the south side of Chicago and kept on building it in Illinois. And now the time has come for us to do it all across this country. We want to paint the town purple and we want to paint the nation purple with SEIU.”

Dozens of people, drawn by area “Tea Party” groups, protested on Monday across from a Burlington Township, NJ school — both about a video that has become an Internet sensation and the larger issue about molding young minds. (original video below)
The video of a grade school’s performance for Black History Month flashed across the Internet like lightning:
“Barack Hussein Obama…”
And it became a lightning rod for groups who called it indoctrination:
“Educate, don’t indocrinate!”
Demonstrators chanted and waved signs on Monday morning across from the B. Bernice Young Elementary School, where the video was shot.
This afternoon on Fox News, Eric Shawn reviewed the timeline of problems with ACORN including a clip of Bertha Lewis (CO) deflecting focus from their systemic criminal activities to right-wing concerns over voter registration of minorities.

In this clip from earlier today, White House Communications Director Anita Dunn tells CNN’s Howard Kurtz that Fox News Network is basically an arm of the GOP. In this RT News video, trends analyst Gerald Celente discusses recent reports that oil dealers are ditching the U.S. dollar for buying barrels. He states that this is evidence of “the demise of the dollar”.
Once again, Saturday Night Live opened with a spoof of President Obama. In this one, they poke fun at him being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
He states that he won for “not being George Bush”. He adds that he also “won the $70 million dollar jackpot in the Powerball lottery”. At the end, he states that he will meet with his financial team consisting of Tim Geithner, Ben Bernanke and Larry Summers … because they “do not make mistakes”.
Pulling off a double-parody can be a daunting enterprise, but this one makes a laudable (and humorous) effort to spoof both Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” and Obama’s Nobel Peace Rhetoric Prize. The author proclaims that she was inspired by Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC).
On The MSNBC’s Ed Show today, Representative Alan Grayson (D-FL) discussed Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize. (video below)
When asked for his response to “the response of the Republican Party, and how they’ve been so negative,” Grayson answered “I think I understand their disappointment, they’re not going to be winning the Nobel Peace Prize themselves anytime soon, they probably wish that there was a Nobel Prize for fear, a Nobel prize for hatred, a Nobel prize for racism, you know then they’d be in the running.”
Although it is tempting to consider Grayson’s remarks as some feeble comedic attempt, he is apparently quite sincere in his bizarre analysis.
