In February of 2009, Barack Obama and his administration told us that the $787 billion Recovery Plan had to be rushed through Congress so that unemployment would not rise above 8 percent.
On July 2nd, 2009, the Labor Department released statistics which showed that the United States unemployment rate had soared to a new high of 9.5 percent.
On July 5th, 2009, Joe Biden said that Obama and his administration had “misread how bad the economy was.” Days later, when asked about this, Obama said it wasn’t a misreading but “a lack of information” from the early weeks of his presidency.
He is wrong. It was no misread. It was sheer unadulterated ignorance.
On July 7th, 2009, Vice President Joe Biden, speaking in Cincinnati to a crowd of protesters, implored the patience of that angry crowd:
“Remember,” Biden said, “we’re only 140 days into this deal. It’s supposed to take 18 months.”

According to Rasmussen Reports, ninety-one percent (91%) of Republicans have a favorable view of Sarah Palin, including 65% who say their view is Very Favorable. Only eight percent (8%) have an unfavorable view of her, including three percent (3%) Very Unfavorable.
Seventy-one percent (71%) said McCain made the right choice by picking Palin as his running mate, while only 65% said the party picked the right nominee for president. When asked to choose among some of the GOP’s top names for their choice for the party’s 2012 presidential nominee, 64% say Palin.
The next closest contenders are two former governors and unsuccessful challengers for the presidential nomination this year — Mike Huckabee of Arkansas with 12% support and Mitt Romney of Massachusetts with 11%. Three other sitting governors – Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, Charlie Crist of Florida and Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota – all pull low single-digit support.

Blog hoppers, news hounds, disenchanted conservatives, and other venerable ilk … lend me an ear. For today, this enlightening day, we’ll delve into an adventure of discovery elucidating the poignant consequences of the runaway collapse of morality in western culture. Yes; that ineffable vice of which I dare to speak is none other than pernicious procrastination … and its far-reaching detriment to our center-right nation.
Now before you relegate my pungent distress to the scatological realm of male bovine excrement, allow me to assert two rebuttals at this juncture. First, I am not afflicted with Bidenesque rhetorical flourishes. Second, and more importantly, powered with an online thesaurus I can hurl salvos of adjectives at you faster than a ravenous cheetah. The end of a long journey, John McCain conceded defeat late Tuesday evening (2008-11-04) in Phoenix, AZ. He urged Americans to come together.
Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians, PUMAs … we do need to come together … we are Americans first. Let us HOPE and PRAY that President Obama will lead our great nation with honor and respect.

On his final full day of campaigning (2008-11-03), McCain’s 24-hour marathon is reported by CBS’s Chip Reid. John McCain attacked rival Barack Obama on his tax policies … and declared emphatically “The Mac is Back”.

If a speechwriter for John McCain had switched sides and announced she was going to vote for Barack Obama, the mainstream media (MSM) would give the story top billing for two or three days. Now, in reality, an Obama speechwriter DID leave his campaign promising to vote for McCain last Friday (2008-10-28) … and … not even a gentle whisper from the ludicrously Obama-biased MSM.
Wendy Button has also written speeches for Democratic Senators John Edwards, Hillary Clinton, and John Kerry, and for Boston Mayor Thomas Menino. Plus, she is a writer for The Huffington Post.

This humorous message was just sent to me by a friend and I thought you might enjoy it.
As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:
1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales and bonuses into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a “fair shake.”
2. All low level workers will be pooling their wages, including overtime, into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are “too busy for overtime” to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.
3. All top management will now be referred to as “the government.” We will not participate in this “pooling” experience because the law doesn’t apply to us.
4. The “government” will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging it’s workers to continue to work hard “for the good of all.”
5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it’s “good to spread the wealth.” Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more “patriotic.”
6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don’t feel bad, though, because President Obama will give you free health care, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he’ll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can’t pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our Democratic congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn’t all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?) !!!
If for any reason you are not happy with the new policies, you may want to rethink your vote on November 4th.

While America trembles precariously close to the economic fringes of outright socialism, we have precious few hours to resolutely return to the valiant ideals of our founding fathers. Aside from political party planks and moral belief systems, our choices are between a man of character whose history is an open book of sacrifice and service AND one who is replete with ongoing discoveries of connections to nefarious associates coupled stunningly with his blatant refusal to reveal any documentation regarding his past.
As you read these words, I earnestly declare to you that I will not be taken quietly into that unfathomable morass of socialistic revolution by Barack Hussein Obama and his cunning puppetmasters. No; I will not go quietly. I will not disgrace the precious history of our venerable forefathers; I will not dishonor the blood that was proudly shed by so many Americans who came before me. The 2008 quadrennial cataclysm has been a tough-fought battle. Whatever the results turn out to be, it is an historic election.
The 2008 election is the first time in U.S. history that two sitting senators have run against each other for President.
It is the first time an African-American is a presidential nominee for a major party.
It is the first time both major candidates were born outside the continental United States — Hawaii for Obama and the Panama Canal Zone for McCain.
Since the Republican nominee for Vice-President is a woman, Governor Sarah Palin, the eventual winning ticket will be historic. Neither an African-American nor a female has achieved either office.
The Republican presidential candidate, John McCain, would be the oldest first-term president.
The Democratic nominee for vice-president, Senator Joseph Biden, would be the first Roman Catholic Vice-President.
And, this is the first time since the 1928 election in which neither an incumbent President nor an incumbent Vice-President ran for their party’s nomination in the presidential election.
Let’s make some history … Vote on Tuesday, November 4 !!!

I read the following post on the FoxNews GretaWire by a poster identified as Proud to be an American … very appropriate … it’s sage advice. We can win this.
Every Republican needs to take 5 other republicans to the polls on Tuesday.
Call and help your neighbors get to the polls.
Call and help the elderly.
Call and make sure your kids vote.
Call your family and friends and get them to the polls also.
Talk to democrats and explain to them how dangerous Obama is.
Show them the video’s about how radical Obama and his friends are.
If the democrats understand the dangers of Obama, then offer to take them to the polls to vote for McCain.
Anyone with a brain will understand the dangers of Obama.
But we must get out and vote.
Save our country from Socialism.
Editor’s Note: Psssst … if you’re an ACORN registered voter, remember you can only vote once … legally.

About three weeks ago, an email started circulating which contained an article from Huntley Brown, a famous black Christian concert pianist. In this message he states the reasons that he won’t vote for Barack Obama.
Please foward this to your friends and family. As the election draws near, his sincere message bears repeating. Whenever someone asks him about the email, and many liberals and conservatives have, he replies with the following information. (read this entire post…)

If you know of an undecided voter, you might want to share the following information with him/her. All polls indicate that the democrats will have even bigger majorities in the House and the Senate after this election. If Obama wins the Presidential election, our entire government would be controlled by ONE PARTY.
We should NEVER have one political party completely in control of our federal government. Bush did during his first 6 years with many damaging results. Carter did during his first 2 years with many damaging results. When one party controls the House, the Senate, and the Executive branch … we essentially have a dictatorship … and their federal court and Supreme court appointments have repercussions long beyond the reign of the dictatorship.

Here’s Cindy and Meghan’s interview on ABC’s Good Morning America. This is presented by MediaFactCheck’s YouTube channel.
[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsNWDu_n_Ck]
CINDY MCCAIN:
“We’re excited. We’re movin’ way up in the polls and things are tightening absolutely everywhere. I think people are beginning to not only get to know Sarah Palin, but understand that she’s a very strong-minded woman. She’s a reformer. She’s a maverick. She’s a governor of a state. She’s the exact right match for my husband. They’re both straight-talking mavericks.”
MEGHAN MCCAIN:
“I learned a long time ago you can’t read anything on-line. I got involved with this campaign when my brother deployed to Iraq. He’s about to re-deploy. I wanted to know who’s gonna keep my brother and so many other people in the military safe and I think its 80-something percent of people polled in the military trust my father. You know the war? We have two wars going on. He’s the man who is gonna keep me safe and get my generation out of the rut that has been created the last eight years.”
Meghan and friends have a blog at McCainBlogette.com.
