On Fox News Sunday today, Chris Wallace interviewed Rush Limbaugh regarding what Obama has done for and to America. Rush proclaimed that President Obama is “destroying” the private sector in America, and that he “has to think it may be on purpose.” This extensive interview leaves few stones unturned regarding Limbaugh’s opinion of Obama’s objectives and their consequences for this country.

Dede Scozzafava, the Republican candidate, announced this afternoon that she is suspending her campaign for New York’s 23rd Congressional District. The state Assemblywoman has not thrown her support to either Doug Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate, or to Bill Owens, the Democratic candidate. The decision to suspend her campaign is most likely a boost for Hoffman who has been steadily gaining in the polls. (videos below)

A poll released today by the Club for Growth shows Conservative Party candidate Doug Hoffman surging into the lead in the special election in New York’s 23rd congressional district. He was recently endorsed by Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann, Fred Thompson, Dick Armey, Tim Pawlenty, Steve Forbes, and area TEA Party Organizers. (video below) The poll of 300 likely voters, conducted October 24-25, 2009, shows Conservative Doug Hoffman at 31.3%, moderate Democrat Bill Owens at 27.0%, liberal Republican Dede Scozzafava at 19.7%, and 22% undecided. The poll’s margin of error is +/- 5.66%.

A new Pew Research Center poll released today shows support for legal abortions has dropped 11 percent from 2008-2009. The poll joins a handful of others from earlier this year confirming there is a growing shift towards the pro-life perspective. The findings by the nonpartisan Pew center show Americans taking a pro-abortion position by a 54-40 percentage point margin in 2007 and 2008. Now, two surveys of 5,500 adults found 47 percent support legal abortions with 44 percent opposed.

 With more than 875,000 fans following her political commentary closely on Facebook, Sarah Palin trails only President Barack Obama as the most popular politician on the social networking site. She has gained 60,000 new followers since we reported her soaring popularity exactly four weeks ago today. Amazingly, she is expanding her high-profile posture in political debates armed only with a notebook computer and an Internet connection. Palin has used her Facebook page to comment on health care, energy policy, and tort reform. She’s also highlighted other causes, such the celebration of Constitution Day and the commemoration of the eighth anniversary of the 911 terrorist attacks.

In the final episode of a record-breaking ratings week, Glenn Beck presented an inspiring music video produced by his staff on Friday. He simply entitled it “A 912 Music Video.” From King George to the 911 Terrorists to the current attempt at a socialist takeover of our country by the non-representing Congress and marxist Administration, WE have been underestimated. In each case, the purveyors of tyranny failed to recognize the will of the American people. After watching this video, you may be more inclined to name it “We Have Been Underestimated Before.”

On August 19th, Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) held a town hall meeting in Bakersfield. He was asked why the Congress was allowing President Obama to create all the “Czars”. Just before he answered, there were shouts from the audience of “He’s a communist!” McCarthy smiled. He answered the question by saying he did not believe Obama had the right to appoint these “Czars” and give them powers that encroach on the “Checks and Balances” the Constitution requires. While flipping through the channels with my remote, I stopped on the movie, “Diary of a Mad Black Woman” on BET (Black Entertainment Television). Excellent movie. During a commercial break, they gave a news update. An announcer said, “They tried to get the Bronx kid, Sonia Sotomayor, but she beat them”. There was not one mention of Sotomayor’s controversial racist statements. Thus, ill-informed black viewers who don’t follow the news closely are led to conclude that those “evil racist white republicans” are at it again trying to block a person of color. I wonder how BET reported the democrat’s trashing of black, Clarence Thomas and Hispanic, Alberto Gonzalez? Well, those two traitors deserved to be trashed. How dare they prosper without Affirmative Action and lowered standards contradicting the democrat’s victim-hood rhetoric. Education, hard work and character? Heck No! We can not allow such a conservative message to influence black youths. These Uncle Toms must be destroyed!

In the world of politics and mass media the words conservative, liberal, left, right, moderate, middle and many other terms meant to label a person’s thinking and beliefs are thrown around as if everyone is speaking from the same dictionary. Well that just cannot be true. We cannot all be finding our definitions in the same dictionary and applying them correctly in every conversation; otherwise, we would not be calling some True Conservative Leaders that title when they seem to possess very little of the qualities associated with the term. Let’s open our Webster Dictionary for a minute and define a few words, shall we? The word conservative is used to describe folks as far flung on the spectrum as Sen. John McCain to Sen. Howard Taft from Pres. Ronald Reagan to Sen. Lindsey Graham from Gov. Mark Sanford (SC) to Gov. Gary Johnson (NM). We can see why such confusion can be found in the term conservative when two out of the three aforementioned sets are worlds apart on their actions (which speak much louder than words).

The Young Cons, a christian rap group, is not attempting to force their religious beliefs onto anyone, but rather encourage discussion among the American youth. They do not claim to have all the right answers, but merely try to express their views through music. Their goal is not to pursue a rap career, but rather get young Americans involved in politics.
