Dede Scozzafava, the Republican candidate, announced this afternoon that she is suspending her campaign for New York’s 23rd Congressional District. The state Assemblywoman has not thrown her support to either Doug Hoffman, the Conservative Party candidate, or to Bill Owens, the Democratic candidate. The decision to suspend her campaign is most likely a boost for Hoffman who has been steadily gaining in the polls. (videos below)
Last night on Fox News’ Sean Hannity program, Representative Michelle Bachman (R-MN), called on Americans to come to Capitol Hill this next Thursday (November 5th) and help her “pay a house call on Nancy Pelosi.” (video below)
Bachmann added that next week is crucial in stopping the Democrats from succeeding in passing “the crown jewel of Socialism”, Government-run Health Care. The Representative intends to hold a press conference at 12 noon next Thursday and then wants citizens to accompany her into the Capitol to actually talk to members of Congress.

Monckton warned that signing the treaty will begin the process of giving up U.S. Sovereignty to a world body that will have the power to impact U.S. financial markets and the greater U.S. Economy. He said it currently contains the power for the body to levy a 2% tax on nations and to impose penalties for C02 emissions.
Bolton stated the treaty is dangerous, but was not prepared to go as far as Monckton yet. He said, however, it does have the potential to do great damage. Even if Obama signs it, it would require a two-thirds vote of the U.S. Senate to ratify the treaty making us bound to its terms.
Delivering the weekly Republican address, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) outlined the Republican plan to make health care more accessible and affordable for American families at a price our nation can afford. The address highlighted the differences between Republicans’ fiscally responsible reforms and Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s 1,990-page government takeover of health care.
In a press conference this afternoon, Representative Joe Wilson (R-SC) proclaimed that yesterday’s ObamaCare bill by the House represented one of the “Darkest Days” in the history of the legislative chamber.
