The draft Treaty of Copenhagen, to be signed in mid-December 2009, would create an unelected world government with direct power over all financial and trading markets, and direct power to intervene over the heads of elected governments in the economic and environmental affairs of all nations that sign the Treaty.
The word “government” actually appears in the Treaty as the first of three purposes of a huge, new, supranational bureaucratic entity that will have the power to require wealthier nations to redistribute up to 2% of their annual gross domestic product to third-world countries in imagined reparation for imaginary “climate debt” -- and all of this is taking place just as the final scientific proof that CO2 has a tiny and harmless warming effect is finally available.
Please read and sign the Instrument of Repudiation, and urge at least five of your friends to sign it too ... and urge each of them to find five more to sign it. The Instrument will be tabled during the Copenhagen Conference this December.

The U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives take a recess for the month of August. This means that many of them will be coming home for a few weeks. When they return to D.C. to represent their constituents in September, we need to make certain that they understand the will of we, the people.
They need to know that we do not want government-run health care. They need to know that we do not want the largest tax increase in the history of our great country, Cap & Trade. They need to know how we feel about the many other issues that will have final votes in September.
Now, is the time that WE can make a BIG difference.
Here's what you can do throughout the entire month of August.
1. Attend Townhall meetings of your Federal Legislators throughout your state. You can find of list of scheduled meetings here. For the very latest info, contact your legislators' district offices.
2. Contact your legislators daily throughout August & September at their Washington Office AND at each one of their District Offices. Also, it is especially important to contact Blue Dog Democrats (fiscally conservative). Here is the official list of blue dog dems.
3. If at all possible, go to the March on Washington D.C., 9-11 thru 9-12. The national web site is here. You might also check with your local tea party organization for the possibility of group bus travel.

The Obama administration and Congress are pushing to move America closer to a government-run Health Care system like Canada or Britain.

ObamaCare Failed in Europe:
President Barack Obama's proposed "public insurance option" for universal health coverage seems logical: A large public insurance fund will provide quality coverage for the uninsured and force competing insurers to lower costs. In practice, though, one needs only look at what decades of government health care have done to ramp up the financial and quality problems endured by Britain and France.
The Obama plan is supposed to make health insurance more competitive. But heavy subsidies will give it a big advantage, pulling an estimated 118.5 million people from private insurers to the public system. This government-subsidized system will eventually dominate the market in a way that would overrule competition.
This is precisely what happened in Britain. The state provides most health care, via the National Health Service. Patients have almost no say over which physician, surgeon or hospital they can use, while professionals have to conform to government plans and targets.
After its birth in 1948, planners soon found that "free" health care multiplied demand. NHS founder Lord Beveridge predicted free health care would cut spending as health improved.
The opposite was true. Between 1949 and 1979, it tripled in real terms. The service now costs twice as much as it did 10 years ago, with productivity down 4.5 percent.
One way government tries to limit demand is to decree which new drugs can be prescribed. Many drugs, widely available in America and continental Europe, are denied to British patients.
State mismanagement has also created waiting lines for hospitals, on average causing 8.6 weeks of waiting. Once inside, budgetary cutbacks on cleaning and maintenance mean higher rates of an antibiotic-resistant variety of staph infection. This "superbug" has turned even routine surgery into a lottery of death.

Since 1994, ACORN has received more than $53 million in direct federal funding. And, over the years, ACORN and its employees have also been the subject of investigations, indictments, and consent decrees in states all across the nation for election-related activities that run afoul of the law.
This isn’t a political witch hunt, as many Democrats claim. The prosecutors who have brought the charges against ACORN and its employees are both Republican and Democrat. They’re doing their jobs, enforcing the law and protecting the integrity of the voting process.
Yet even as fresh charges were being filed against ACORN and its employees in Nevada and Pennsylvania, Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives worked to protect the stream of tax dollars to this organization. They stripped down language that I had put in a mortgage reform bill (HR 1728) – language that would have ensured that Congress sets a high bar for who has access to your tax dollars.
Congress and the Administration have been on a spending spree with your money, racking up trillion dollar deficits for years down the road. If Congress can’t draw the line here – if they can’t say that an organization repeatedly charged with violating the law and public trust should not have access to federal funds – where will they draw the line?

President Obama has said that "Cap & Trade" will cause electricity prices to skyrocket. Do you have an extra $1,500 a year to spend on energy? It's also expected to increase costs indirectly across the board for each American household on every good or service purchased that uses energy by another $1,500 per year.
This proposed legislation is also known as H.R. 2454 or the Waxman-Markey Bill. Let's Stop the Energy Tax.
On the floor of the House on Wednesday (2009-06-03), Representative Paul Broun (R-GA) explains the enormous costs that Americans will have to bare under the "Cap & Trade" bill.
