A Senate bill, S-773, would offer President Obama emergency control of the Internet and may give him authority to shut down online traffic by seizing private networks.
Details of a revised version of the CyberSecurity Act of 2009 emerged late Thursday (August 27th), months after an initial version authored by Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV). The original version was highly criticized in Silicon Valley as a dangerous government intrusion.
The new version of the CyberSecurity Act of 2009 changes the wording to allow the President to “declare a cyber-security emergency” relating to “non-governmental” computer networks. As with the original bill, however, the revised bill does not explain what a cyber-security emergency is.
Another component of the CyberSecurity Act would require the development of a set of standards for cyberspace security measures. This would create a single standard that all of the Internet would have to work within. There is some concern that a single standard would actually create more of a threat. If those attacking the US could break through the single standard rather than the various ones that exist now, then the US would be a great risk.
Other sections of the proposal include a federal certification program for “cybersecurity professionals,” and a requirement that certain computer systems and networks in the private sector be managed by people who have been awarded that license.
The Bill, as it is currently written, gives the potential for the US government to control the Internet in OUR country as Iran and China are notorious for doing with their citizens.

Of all of Obama’s goals, Amnesty is by the far greatest danger. If Amnesty is passed you can bet your bottom dollar that that these socialist crapweasels will fast track citizenship so they can vote. I recently read an article about a study that estimates there are about 38 million illegals here. If so, what will that number look like after immediate family members are added to Amnesty? 70-80 million? More? A lot of illegals are here without their wives and children. Think about this: if that many come here, America will become one party rule - SOCIALISM!

Amnesty is the one thing that will almost certainly not lend itself to being undone. I think the health care initiative and cap & trade are strategic misdirections by Obama and his socialist comrades. These newly legalized aliens will drive wages through the floor and millions of them will also fall in love with America’s welfare system. Count on it!
