This afternoon, Senator John McCain (R-AZ) held a town hall meeting in Sun City, AZ. In response to an attendee’s statement about not trusting any major party candidates, McCain said the following. (video below)

“I think you may be seeing the beginning of a peaceful – and I emphasize peaceful – revolt in America, against what - I’ve seen involvement and engagement on the part of Americans that I have never seen the likes of which before.

We’ve got to take back our government from the special interests!”

McCain did stand strongly against what Obama is trying to do in passing Government Health Care. He also spoke positively about the Americans who are standing up and speaking their mind at town hall meetings.

However, when McCain was asked by a lady in the large crowd if Obama still knows we live under a Constitution. McCain answered “I’m sure that he does” and the crowd laughed. He then added “I’m sure that he respects the Constitution of the United States” and the crowd booed him.
